It's been way too long since I have been here. Had to drop the hobby all together some 5 years ago due to personal life, and digging through my storage unit found some of my old toys.

Holy hell I've missed a lot, there are so many new diodes?? 7W in a handheld? WTF.

Also watch your pocket. A world full of new diodes means a huge spend up pending.
Yep, 7W+ seen from the NUBM44 and 4W+ 465nm's.

Happy to see and old member return. Like BowtieGuy said, the number of new higher power laser diodes have increased dramatically since last you were here. Also, many of the other diodes are much cheaper now than you will remember.

Hi Joe ,
Welcome back like everyone said the new diodes are very powerful as the NUBM44 is the king at the moment. And needs proper heat sinking use the mag Light platform to accommodate this 9MM diode..

The rep system went mad recently. Rep inflation.
As for the ads, I don't really get bothered by them anymore. I'm too used to them.

Feel like our forum could use a facelift. Could be very misleading/intimidating for newbies.
