Haha yeah the drains are fun. Good news is the areas are numb still ;) I think they are coming out Monday so that's only a little over a week in. Good news is the lymph nodes came back negative so I am optimistic that they got it all. Will know more after my appointment Monday but they gave me a call to say they came back negative :D

I vow never to have any food in my mouth again when I log on LPF in future; choked on my nectarine when I scrolled upon your pics and made a mess on the keyboard. Straight out of Elysium! That looks fierce enough to beat any tattoo hands down. And if that doesn't help elevate you closer to vet status by Feb 2014, nothing else will. Way to go, borg!

Good too hear your on the road to recovery. Just found out my prostate has to come out, Just caught it in time. Don't feel alone ever and attitude is one of the most important parts of recovery. We are all with you.

Drains came out Monday and I am feeling a heck of a lot better without them!

Man that sucks, mine came out of the blue too. I actually met someone after I got my drains out that had the same surgery as me. Not that unlikely seeing as I was at a cancer hospital but still is kinda nice to know I'm not the only young person dealing with this. Best of licl on your prostate situation
