Hello everyone.

Wanted to say thank you to all of the old timers that have put in the time and effort to make it easy for us new guys. Much knowledge to be found here and I have learned a lot. For that I am grateful.

When I am not flying or hunting, I am geeking out on some kind of project in my workshop.

And lasers caught my attention because I learned it was a tool missing from my box.

Yes, I actually have an application for a 2.9w handheld laser.

And yes, it involves animals.

Happy New Year!!

You know, there are better ways to go about... the entire thread.

Telling people you
1) glue animals to rocks
and
2) have a use for a near-3W laser
ties these statements into
"I like to burn the ass hairs off my cat from ten feet" pretty easily.

It's quite okay, comedy is appreciated every now and then, just make sure we know it is. Sarcasm isn't easy over the internet...

No wait. Sorry for being rude.

I can really relate to what he said. Gluing animals to rocks.

This is about reef aquariums. I am an aquarium hobbyist too. Superglue is used to attach corals to rocks. Same goes to freshwater aquariums. Some mosses are superglued to rocks or driftwood.

Be careful using the laser to zap nasties in your tank.

Have fun and be safe!

LOL, I must say that was very witty. Your use of words left people assuming you are a messed up freak. That's pretty funny. Your uses are perfectly litigate.

Do you actually possess a 2.9W laser or are you planning on building one? Also, my god you live close to me XD

Talk about a dangerous introduction. However now seeing that we're dealing with corals...all righty then.
A least you aren't blinding cats or dogs.

Welcome to the LPF.

Welcome dude! To be honest I pictured the crazy nasty ass honey badger glued firmly to a big rock.
My imagination is my own enemy.

It's funny how people jump to conclusions instead of asking questions. Don't let one bad experience ruin your time here! Welcome to the forms. Be safe with lasers.
