New member here. I'm Kevin, but y'all can call me Gadget. I live in the southern Dallas 'burb of Duncanville. I was born in Arkansas, but I got here as quick as I could! Been in the Great State of Texas for all but 3 years of my life.
I've been lurking around here for a week or two, readin'...and watchin'...and learnin', and hell, even buyin'! (I'll save the upcoming build for another thread)
Then Hacksaw smacked me up last night and said I better get in here and introduce mesef, so here I am.
I'm into a pretty diverse set of "Fun Stuff" TM.
R/C flyin', Electronics, Ren Faires, DIY anything, Astronomy, Reefkeeping (and as offshoots of keeping a reef, I study Chemistry, Hydraulics, and Biology, among others). I'm also into 1:1 scale flyin' (private ticket), and even though I'm a heathen infidel I get into a little Theology now and then (I use this definition, "the exploration of the nature of divinity without reference to any specific tradition.").
I am also into making Knotwork of the Pictish school...like this one (this one is not of the Pictish method, tho)
And now, these freakin' LASERS!!! MY GOD MAN...WHERE WILL IT END?!?!
Anyways...it's good to be amongst this troop of knowledgeable folks! I think I can really learn a few things here.
Thanks for listenin',
