Hiya

Hey! I've been a member here for a little over a year but only really started posting until recently. I'm fairly familiar with the forum but I figured I might as well introduce myself. I've always been fascinated with lasers but I've only just decided to start building them. I've done a ton of research already and I'm getting all the parts for a blu-ray, but I guess I was just wondering if any has some good tips for building.

Hey there Blackmjolnir.
What will you be using as your host...that will determine your batteries, and those will determine what driver you use. Another consideration is the heat sink. If you do not have access to a lathe, you will probably want to choose a host that has ready made heat sinks available. Jayrob, Dark_Horse, and Catmandoo are the people to talk to for those.
