So hi I'm an 18 yo newcomer! Been interested in this hobby for a couple months but since I got no fixed income I was worried of how would I get involved y'know hehe...
Anyway I'm from Costa Rica, Central America, I will mostly lurk till I get enough knowledge to get with you guys I guess.
I'm planning on building a M140 in a C6 Flashlight host instead of buying an already built laser to get started I guess would be more interactive and will make me be more enthsiastic about it! :beer:

Welcome to the forum, do poke around and see all the great stuff in the world of lasers. Be sure to use the white search bar at the bottom of the page as there is a wealth of information to see here. Remember to get proper safety laser goggles for the wavelength of your laser if it is over 5mW. Enjoy, have fun and most importantly be safe.

Welcome to LPF Smoodle. Yes safety glasses and batteries and a charger add up to some additional money on top of the laser parts. If building a laser yourself you will need a soldering iron and its a good idea to have a DMM.

My aquaintence now living in CRica is Steve once owner of ShowLaser out of Dallas-
Rick 'hitevcoop' got most of his gear and does awesome shows for his lady's PF Tribute Band 'Bricks in the Wall' prolly the best ever PF tribute band.
If you want to meet Steve let me know..hak

Hello mate, I've been wanting to go to Costa Rica for some time now.. The beaches and rain-forest look amazing there. I think next year I'll make it. Good luck on your build man. EZ
