Hi all,

Im new to the forum and new to the laser world, My first question is does anyone know where I can read up on the basics of lasers, laser safety, and all related info, Im hoping to possibly build a laser for my uni course and guessed this would be a ideal place to start.

:thanks:Matt!:)

That pisses me off so much, 400$ gone, the worst part is I work at McDonalds(heh), and am in high school, so it's quite a big chunk of money for me.

Wow. Not to go OT further (even though the topic was pretty obvious and) but -- how/where was it stolen?

I brought it to a swimming pool because I was going to my friends right after that to show him, I locked it in a locker with one of my masterlocks, stuffed it in a shoe with a sock over top to keep it hidden. I came back 1.5 hours later and found a broken lockpick sticking out the end and the door open with the laser gone, 15$ that was in my wallet gone, and my new 60$ watch gone. Really bad day.
