HELLO my name is: The Incident Photon

Greeting from Illinois. My "name" is The Incident Photon. I've grown up in the U.S. all my life and currently I'm in college studying to become an electrical and computer engineer. In addition to this, I do Division 1 swimming. Recently I had to work with something related to a CNC machine that used 250W laser to cut patterns into stock. Ironically after my electrical engineering professor began to talk about photonics. This is what sparked my interest in lasers. I watch video's of their uses and what certain laser pointers can do and eventually I decided I was going to buy one, just don't know what to decide on yet.
-This is my first thread I've ever created on any forum and the first forum I've ever been apart of so sorry if I offend anyone for any reason :beer:
