Hi all
I bought my first laser pointer a couple of years ago. It was one of those little red ones you point around and play with a cat. My cat had gotten bored with it after a while since she could never actually catch it... etc.
So, just messing around with the little 650nm 5mw pointer, I was just looking on Amazon for a fancy new one, preferably in blue or green. So, one thing led to another and was captivated by the ambiguous terms for certain neat looking lasers on Amazon such as "tactical" "5000 meters", "burn match", "pop balloon" and such. Yet these were supposedly 5mw lasers. Some of them looked just like those hosts looked but like a more raw version of the smaller Wicked Lasers 1watt hosts.
So, I bought one on Amazon, and yes, it is in fact a high powered blue laser @445nm.
So, there it began, the laser fever.. I have caught it. On from there, I have added to my rather new collection. I then bought one of those gatling style silver lasers that is even more over spec. They both still work just fine.
Here's an indoor shot of my first 1watt 445nm:
Also keep in mind that all the blues in these pics are just a tad more violet than they should be. Not by much though. The 465nm in a couple of these was operating on really low battery.. so that may have affected the color exposure

Same setting but lights off and wobbly camera hands:

Here's a inside dark closet beam shot and dot of my 200mw 405nm:

From there, I started reading and researching on this website and just learning and absorbing so much knowledge about all things laser. I ran across Jet Lasers and all the You Tube videos pertaining and Gray. I then bought a 465nm PLE PRO model @3500mw and that one is here:
Looks a tad more purple in this than in reality

and here's the same 465nm into the trees in the early evening. Nice beam visibility under the right conditions. Don't worry I'm VERY careful handling lasers around pets. I never turn it on unless I know that it's pointing way above and not toward them. I always use safety goggles when indoors and keep the pets out of the room and of course other humans that don't have proper eye protection:

Same laser into the dark back yard into the rain:

More tree shots from PLE PRO 465nm 3.5watt:

Well lit room at night:

Same room rainy early evening, blinds nearly closed:

Afternoon indoors:

And now for the green. My Jet Laser PLE PRO 1200mw 520nm beam shot outdoors at night:
Just love this wavelength at this power. It's much more impressive in reality. And there's this almost ethereal sheen to the beam, even in well lit rooms.

indoors afternoon beam visibility:

[/IMG]
Outdoors at night with 10x beam expander that is not focused properly due to learning how at the time. Beam is much fuller than this when pre expanded beam is adjusted properly:

More lasers on the way. I'm still waiting on an Arcane 2.0 from Sci Fi lasers. Also maybe a 473nm. I'd really love a 593nm but kinda pricey
