So I just want to say right off the bat, a big "Thank you!" to DTR for recommending this forum to me.

I have been working with lasers for several months at my internship, and have fallen in love with the possibilities.

I own probably six laser pointers: four red <5mW and two greens, one 5mW and one 15mW.

I am new to the diy laser scene, and I'm looking forward to applying all that I know and will pick up from the community to build some amazing and innovative stuff.

I'm looking forward to getting to know the forum and all of you members better.

Welcome to the forums!!
Good to know you want to DIY... For me, its the most rewarding part of the hobby... IMHO... Especially when you extract diodes from dvd burners and build drivers!

Have a nice stay, and remember, always lase safe (use goggles!)

Welcome Neighbor, I'm also new to this forum and haven't been able to stop absorbing knowledge from it's never ending threads and reviews, from picking what laser to get or even how to assemble your own this forum has everything you could ask for even video's and beam shots in reviews so you know exactly what your spending your money on. Just remember safety comes first and there are plenty of posts suggesting the proper eye wear so enjoy yourself don't be afraid to ask before buying from a site, some have bad reputations and these guys on here know that from first hand experience so YOU will not have to.:)
