Hello All

Hi , my name is Anthony, Aiden is just a nickname. I am new here and i just wanna say that i like lasers, the light just really interests me. I've been browsing here for a while just reading and taking in all the info. I love the beautiful lasers I have seen members here build and i hope i can build some too one day :3.

but i am a noob so i know it will take time. I already have a 301 laser ( dont laugh lol) just to tinker with it and learn some of the basics, because hey if i blow it up or fry it oh well, it was 12 bucks. If you can help me mod it that would be cool too

Anyway i hope to learn alot from you all, and have a collection of awesome colors

Welcome to the forum, if you want to mod the 301 you could look around ebay for some higher power 532 modules, but its probably easier to build a new one from scratch

These 301/303 lasers are very good for learning. Isn't too powerful to make several injury if correctly used, but have enough power to do something that people like, like pop balloon, light match, etc... Leaves a trail into the air, reaches big distances, etc... And is cheap. If you get a special laser (since all dpss are different), you can learn and see the mode hopping effect.

I recommend that you look at the laser classes and search the proper care needed to handle every class.
