Hello, I just joined and I'm a total newbie when it comes to lasers. My wheelhouse is DIY Lighting (buidling, programming, playing) for whole house sychronized light shows. I joined mainly because I'm trying to break into lasers with a Green Liquid Sky effect. I've been searching this forum and other media to see ideas. Basically I see a couple popular approaches. 1) Hand Laser with some sort of line lens on the end to create a single line beam 2) A mirror sitting on some sort of motor/fan to create the effect. From my reading I have two basic questions. 1) How do you know if a laser pointer will fit the AIXiz with the line lenses 2) If they are line lenses, what do the different degrees mean? 90', 120', 180', etc.. It's a line! I'd like to try both these options, but could use some help/direction in finding the right first laser.
