Hello dear forum members,

I'm Alan, I'm a farmer and I own a 5mW red laser pointer and a 10mW green laser and I enjoy using them so far. They're both powered by 1.5V alkaline batteries but I've never had the chance to measure their specs with a laser power meter.

I bought two pairs of protective glasses of OD4 (one for the ultraviolet/green range and one for the red/IR range) because I got the laser in two different times and so at first I thought I won't need protection that far in the visible spectrum. I'm however aware that being a cheap green laser pointer it may emit some IR light.

I like reading forum posts and I'm here to try understand more about the web offers without having to be scammed myself from seller to seller in order to find better products.

Thank you

Welcome to the forum, Alan. Where are you from? I'd love to hear where you're farming. It's helpful to fill out your location on your profile.

Thanks for your reply. I'm in Italy, I farm different cultures from olive trees to tomatoes depending on the time of the year.

Very nice. I am from farming people, but am unable to grow virtually anything where I am living now. I really want a home where I can play in the soil again.

Anyone named Alan has got to be OK. Welcome to the forums and best of luck with your farming. Olives and olive oil from Italy is among the finest there is.

scum come back to Washington, all that ash that buried half the state 33 years ago gave us better farmland.
