Hello

Hi guys,
Been reading and researching a lot on this site for about 2 months now and figured it was about time to say hello and introduce myself to the guys with whom hanging out with is going to end up costing me a lot of money

I'm a copier tech and software developer, with some experience in machine shops. (not much.. but enough to be addicted to making things on a mill and lathe) I am also very into airbrushing and my cnc experience along with my laser interest is the biggest reason i have spent so much time here.

I hope to start building my first lm317 driver this weekend, and hooking it up to a couple harvested reds from dvd burners as my first build, moving then to a 6X or better BR. Then i'll give it a nice little home on my homemade cnc plotter/ cutter to make stencils for the airbrush. (might be overly optimistic here, but even if i fail at reaching this goal, the journey should be a lot of fun. )

Tons of info here and a bunch of great guys and i'm glad to have your minds here to tap when i need.
