Hello! I'm Tyler, 22, working at a hardware store full time.
Over the years I have always been interested in lasers and laser pointers of all kinds. Never did I have a 'real' higher powered laser pointer other than the cheapo ones you can buy anywhere.
On and off I had always been looking at pointers and thought the idea of having one would be fun. With some disposable income at hand I decided to start small, and just purchased a 30mW handheld green pointer from Optotronics. I had only read good things about this company and the infamous 'Jack' seemed like a great person to do business with.
Since this is my first somewhat serious laser I just wanted something fairly low power that I could have fun with without entirely worrying about burning my retinas out. I feel like it's a good middle ground to begin with and if I decide I really like and enjoy it, I'll get something more later down the road.
Hope to frequent here often and gain a lot of knowledge from the laser community!
