Hello folks. Just thought I would register and say Hi. I am a long time laser fanatic, but never had the time, money or knowledge to really play with them. I still don't have much time or knowledge, but at least I can afford to start playing in the sandbox. My first project is started by tearing out the diode form my old Xbox HD-DVD drive. I've ordered a little case for it, and have assembled the driver for it already (I know some electronics, do a lot of little home projects, such as X10 controlled blinds for example), and will start there. I would love to get into the big stuff eventually of course, but we shall see. To give you and idea, I've been drooling over that Arctic S3 video from Wicked Laser, and hope to have something like that eventually (I love blue LED/Laser light).
Anyway, Hi! If there are any other members in the Atlanta area I would love to see your lasers and maybe pick your brain, although I am sure once I finish this first project I will annoy someone asking more questions.

though, ive only ever been there once, and that was quite a while ago, so i dont remember it too well...ah. ill go see it again eventually=p
