funny thing happened to me on the way to the forum

Hello everyone. Jim here. I was looking forward to my first post being about why I'm here and a short intro. Didn't happen that way, but here's my intro anyway.
The reason I'm here is I have an idea for a build.I contacted a company that made "custom lasers". When I told them I was looking for 10 diodes low mW in a row running off a rechargeable source. They asked what it was for, they responded back with" please provide a schematic ". I thought to myself " if I could provide a schematic, I would just build it myself". So here I a. To learn what I can and share what I learn be it a great build or fried foods. This is my first project with others in mind.also my 6 yr old will be learning with me.
I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you.

Nope, a whole lot of more reputable companies out there, that you would be much better of dealing with, laserglow, optotronics, jetlasers, laserbtb, lazerer, etc,.
