Hello, i bought this laser from DHGATE, it looks pretty nice, but I am sure that this laser is not 1Watt. But i Compared this with other green that i have (100mw) and the difference is a lot, plus i tried outside in a sunny day and i could see the point in some trees 100 feet away really clearly.
Unfortunatly i don't have a tester to check the real power...
I am not an expert, but for this price it is a good deal.
The shipping was about 20 days.
I have to buy some baloons to tray to pop them. I will tell you if it works...

Glad you like the new laser, for the price if you like it, the rest doesn't really matter. Without an LPM there is really no way to test it out, so if I were you I'd assume ~100mW and play it safe. Without at the very least comparing to a metered laser there is no eyeballing exact power... some experienced members can probably do it to within 25%, but even they can't see IR
Definitly yes, the laser can light matches in no more than 4 sec. and also can burn black tape (i am really surpriced) ...obviously you have to adjust the focus,,,,(i don't know how much power is necessary for do this) but for 44$, it looks a good deal, if anyone wants a video, i can tray to upload some...
