Hello folks!
I've been a long time lerker here, you guys have been a great source of information and guidance in helping me decide what kindof laser i need/wanted to start out with, and finally where to buy. I have read countless threads, and finally decided to join officially today.
you see i bought a SL-RPBAR - 660nm ~300 mw kit from Survival-Lasers yesterday! and i can't brag about it to ya'll if i dont have an account right?
Moving on, I work at a popular motel in a tourist town in Texas. Graveyard shift, as a matter of fact i am there now. I spend my slow nights at work playing with one or more of my HAM radio HTs. sometimes i even bring a little VHF amp in and a wire antenna (hung from the second story of the motel and pushing about 30 watts into the air) to talk as far away as college station and baytown (i am located near San Antonio) on simplex!
Weekends I am either at the river or lake loosening up my fishing reels, or down at the range tightening up my groups.
Looking forward to having some laser time in between!
As well as learning alot, and generally having a good time.
P.S.
I have always been a bit of a cut-up so bear with my ever present jokes and quips - i promise almost half the time they are pretty funny.
