I was not sure where to place this thread,, but seeing how as Rob is always helping with LPF Welcome Wagon ( and very diligent in the Donations board) and because this board is at the top I will do this here,,
thanks for the help-- Rob would do the same if the roles were reversed.



To whom it my concern..
Veteran member and great friend of all, especially at LPF, Rob (pheonix77) Banas has run into very tough times.


He is unable to find work due to health issues, the crappy economy in Indiana and taking care of his very ill wife and 81year old mom. A hand-up (not a hand-out)could make the diffference in his fight to keep his home. Foreclosure is eminent and IMO the Banas family is truly deserving of some help from the membership. Rob has worked tirelessly in the Welcome and Donations boards for LPF.

Please Paypal whatever you can spare no matter how small- send as personal/gift and please do it now.


Avery has lead the way with several donations already- clif (Cajun Lasers) has helped and Gray(Jetleasers) has been very generous too. Please post that you have helped but stating amount is NOT necessary.
A few words of encouragement to Rob will help raise his spirits. We were thinking that once we get him past this month some may be willing to donate a laser or whatever you live without and auction these items off sending the procedes to Rob.


There are only a couple days left in this month and any help sent ASAP could make all the difference.

At the moment Rob's Mom is staying with relatives , I misunderstood that.
He cant help her any and the 500mi. trip to visit her is not going to happen.
I know well how that feels. my dad is 94 and forgets a few weeks after I leave that I was there. ALZ/Dementia is a heartbreaker. ...len

All I can say is THANKS to all who have helped me out in my family's time of need. Those who have made donations to help me save my home from going into foreclosure will ALWAYS be remembered for your generosity & friendship. More words fail me at this point, cause my eyes are waterung with happiness thet my frinds on LPF ar willin to help me out lik thid. You guys art th gretestttttt.

Your are very welcome Rob..IMHO this help is justified 'Pay-back' for all the 'Paying Forward' you have done in the past. Your Positive feedback is proof of that.

Hopefully the spring weather will effect the job market where you live and something will come up. Maybe a member can suggest something you may have overlooked.



For sure all three of you would qualify for SSI.. if denied, appeal-appeal-appeal..
Once approved you will get back payment SSI money from the day you frst applied. All applications are routinely denied until you appeal.

My deepest THANKS to all the Forum Members that have helped me out so far, guys & gals!
Just a sit-rep if anyone is interested, tomorrow my wife & I have a meeting with the Ft. Wayne Housing Authority to find out if they can be of any $$$ help, grant us an extension, or maybe even a 6 month moratorium (where we don't have to make any house payments till we get in a better financial situation)!!! We're hoping to get the moratorium, (fingers crossed).

I will post again after the meeting to let you all in on what's going on. LPF Members are the BESTEST IN THE WORLD !!! My wife & I are so touched that my friends here on the Forum & even some Members that I don't even know have chipped in to help us out of this predicament we're in. Also, I promise you, that even though you are in a truly shitty situation, it will eventually get better, the silver lining will spread to all the pages, and everything will again be at peace. I once told someone that it takes your deepest of lows, to reach your highest of highs and finally soar. Hang in there man, I know that this seems horrible now, and well, it is. But I promise you, with every fiber of my being, it will eventually get better. You've just gotta hang on, even if it's the very last thread of your every fraying spirit, you must.
