To all new users:
there are currently 3 forum layouts to choose from: dark_shadows and Forum default , and icerealm2
dark_shadows is probably the one you are using now, with dark colors
Forum default is based on light colors if you don't like the dark color scheme
icerealm2 is experimental and was added october 19,2007. this layout uses some transparency which could cause your browser to use more memory and lag a bit, but it should be a very cool looking template. it might be worth the tradeoff, especially if you have a faster computer.
To switch between layouts, just go your profile, click modify and then to options.
You can change the template you want to use here.
in the future i may add even more layout templates for the forum
